I’ve been researching my family tree for almost fifteen years and currently have just under 7,000 people on my tree at Ancestry. Researching my family tree was something I’d always wanted to do and I was lucky my maternal grandmother was still around to help me in the beginning.
It’s been a fascinating journey and I’ve uncovered some surprising things along the way as well as connecting with distant relatives. The reason why I decided to start this blog was because I wanted to explore my findings in a little more depth than you can do on the genealogy websites. Primarily, this blog is for me but if you recognise any of your ancestors, feel free to get in touch.
